Hi Ruth. That is a remarkable list. Good luck with that. I have an interesting idea for the Southern sky “thing” In the South Island we have Aurora Australis. It’s not as spectacular as Aurora Borealis in the northern hemisphere, however, going by the photos I have seen, it is worthwhile seeing this. Google Mt St John Observatory for information. Also at this venue is one of the recognised clear sky reserves for great astronomy.
