This is when the subject is off centre or when image naturally segments into thirds, horizontally or vertically.

Thanks Judy. I bought an “olloclip” lens last week for my iPhone and have been experimenting and taking photos of everything, flowers, coins, jewellery, food, etc. I got up early on Sunday as it was sunny and frosty, and managed to take the first photo. Macro is my current favourite photo theme. technique.
