On a blustery afternoon, between morning and evening storms, we visited the Botanical Gardens.
It is a beautiful collection of different gardens, herbs, food, cactus, local Tasmanian, palms, pines, oaks, eucalypts, roses, Chinese, Japanese and European, displaying trees, shrubs and flowers.
There was a lovely display of orchids within the Conservatory.
Beautiful photos!

Hi Ruth.
Your photos are beautiful. What is the upside down lantern plant called? I am referring to the 2nd photo.
Kind regards
Den

Hi Den.They are gum nuts on a eucalyptus tree but there are so many different gum trees. I have so much to learn about the local flora and fauna.
