From here … Mount Nelson
To here … Sandy Bay
A lovely bush walk, started off gently descending along well maintained path, via some burnt out trees and areas were controlled bush fires had occurred.
Views were glimpsed through the trees. Beautiful benches had been placed along the path, some overlooking creative bush art.
The path got steeper, with rock steps as it descended into the gulley, to the rivulet below and back to roads, homes and civilisation.
A lovely walk Ruth and I really like the strong shadows. You should link your walks to Restlessjo’s Monday Walk https://restlessjo.wordpress.com/jos-monday-walk/
it’s a great way to share walks 🙂 And I adore those lovely hand-carved benches – very handy in that terrain.

Thanks Jo. Jude recommended your blog. I look forward to following your walks, and others. I moved from UK to Tasmania 2 months ago and am loving my new place and exploring. So I’ll have more walks to link to you.
