This Tessellated Pavement in Tasmania is a natural rock formation, created over millennia. The natural erosion has formed rectangular bricks on the flat rock surface.
The view from the road above shows the wonderful rugged coastline and ocean beach.
As we walked down the path we could see the pavement laid out below, with the ocean lapping over sections with each wave.
When walking on the rocks, we saw how uniform the shapes are.
