The board is connected to the surfer.
The surfer is connected to the kite.
When the kite connects with the wind, away he goes.
Yesterday we went to the local farmers market then on for a drive. We ended up at an ocean beach on the east coast, at Marion Bay. Four kite surfers were making the most of the strong wind.
I love it when something unexpected covers both my “photo a day” prompt (in the air) and the weekly photo challenge. Happy days.

Beautiful shots- I just witnessed kite surfing for the first time this month, but I wasn’t close enough for my camera to capture it too well, and there wasn’t a stunning beach backdrop to distract from the distance either. Still, it’s a pretty cool thing to watch!
