My mind is back in London after watching a fun film at the cinema last night. My head is still taking a virtual tour of some favourite places.
So I’m linking that into this week’s photo challenge. Here are some ornate lamp posts, gates, oh and a lion.
Is the last photo Nelson’s column? Family lore dictates that I am related to him. We carry it on from generation to generation.
Missing the Old Dart today?

Yes, Nelson’s column in Trafalgar Square. That’s some family connection. Drafting a post about transition from “permanent holiday” to “normal life in a different place”. I knew the movie would set some thoughts in motion, I expect seeing James Bond next week with have similar effect.

I’ve only been to London once – on a very quick 2 day layover. Your pictures however sparked a lot of memories … certainly one of the most beautifully ornate cities 🙂

These are stunning images. I haven’t been London for more than a decade. Thank you for the tour, Ruth. 🙂

Oh, the last photo brings back some memories. Me sitting just below that lion with my mini skirt on at the tender age of 15! Funny how a photo can transport us back in time – just like that! Thank you Ruth!
