There are times when the local beach is deserted. But not this morning.
Today was the annual “Dog’s Christmas Breakfast” where owner’s were encouraged to share muffins and pastries. Juice was provided. Some dogs wore festive collars and tinsel. The event raises funds for Dog’s Homes of Tasmania. There were more doggie foot prints on the sand than human ones.
We are dog people, even though we don’t currently have dogs in our life. We often stop and chat to walkers and owners. So we got up early and had our pre breakfast exercise on the dog beach.
It was a chilly eight degrees at eight am with snow on Mount Wellington overnight. Not quite what I expected from a Tassie summer. Temperatures will be back in the twenties tomorrow.
Some cute doggies there, nice photos Ruth.
