Insomnia
Time drags in the dark hours
Toss and turn
Look at the clock
Only a few minutes have passed since you last checked
Dawn
Time flies as the world awakens
Birds chorus
Light changes minute by minute
Look at the clock, time to start your day
If you hadn’t been awake in the pre dawn
You would only know a grey cloudy morning
Not the joyous colours of the passage of time
I love sunrises and you captured it beautifully. The 1st photo is my favourite with that interesting cloud formation against the deep bluish-purple sky.

Thanks Joanne. I’m finally experimenting with a new Sony camera. No editing of colours so I’mm pleased with these photos.

Lovely pensive words on the slow passage of time in the dark hours, then matched with beautiful images of the day awakening. Great interpretation of the theme.
