There are a few “car wash & dog wash” places here in Tasmania. It’s not something you see in the UK.
So I finally stopped to take some photos and use the car wash. Unfortunately there was no one there with a dirty dog at the time.
I’m joining Claudette at to search and to find and sharing the emotion behind the photo.
🙂 Thanks Ruth, I often wonder if anyone does wash their dog there – I’ve never seen one. Nice to recognise a valley photo.

Now that was a bit odd, to have a special dog wash. Never heard of before… 🙂

We have a dog wash in our community. Although I have yet to use it, my understanding is a number of dog owners do!

Good to know that they are used. When we had dogs we just used a hose and bucket out in the back garden.

That made me smile, believe it or not I washed my 2 dogs today at the Service Station/Car Wash/Dog Wash. I wash 2 dogs for $5, it doesn’t hurt my back and the dogs get a nice walk around the area afterwards. Unlike when they go to be clipped they just walk right in so I think they quite enjoy it.

This is an interesting concept. We have all those but definitely separate. It makes sense in a way but I’d be wondering if they were recycling the car wash water into the shower water. 🙂
