Australia from the air.
Hobart 16 degrees – 1 hour 50 minute flight – Sydney 25 degrees – 4 hour 30 minute flight – Perth 33 degrees.
One country – 3 time zones.
Stunning landscapes. Cities, pastures, wilderness, coastlines, salt flats, mines.
Stunning photos!

Big journey! If you are in the South West it would be great to meet up for a coffee :-).

We’re not going south, unfortunately. We’re heading to The Pinnacles tomorrow after a city day today and Fremantle / Rottnest yesterday. I’m looking forward to sorting through photos next week and writing some posts about our trip. Sorry we won’t be able to meet up.

I hope you enjoy your time in WA. I am from Victoria originally but have been living in WA since 1982. My hubby is from the UK. I loved the Pinnacles when I saw them – hope you do too!

Loved those pics! I remember flying from the top corner of WA to Tassie through Melbourne after a European holiday, and I was awestruck at the colour of the landscape through the WA /Territory sections of the flight. I could not move from the window at the back of the plane where I had gone to exercise -not even to get my camera as I was afraid of missing something. Thanks for bringing that back to my mind’s eye.

You have caught some amazing changing landscapes. Lucky to have a clear day and be low enough to see the country.

There’s something about seeing a country from the air and you’ve beautifully captured the variety in Australia. An amazing country.
