It’s summer in this great southern land. Colourful beach huts, views of the beach and clear blue skies reflect recent summer days.
As a contrast, in a few months, Tasmania will be back in winter.
One of the reasons we chose to move here was the fact that it has four seasons. I love the changes, the autumn colours as the days shorten, the joy of new life as winter fades.
I combining a couple of blog challenges with this post. Norm’s Thursday Door and this week’s photo challenge Seasons
i love those cute doors! Great shots of the beach and mountains.

Other parts of Australia are also lovely but too hot for me with their tropical, sub tropical climates.

Beautiful photos along the beach in Tasmania. The huts look so cheery along the shoreline. It has been a warm summer here in Melbourne but I am enjoying it. I’m every bit the summer person 😀

I love Tasmania; sadly Jo does not. She hates cold.

Cute coloured cabins. I miss the 4 seasons in Queensland. I think I could live in Hobart, But like Jo in Micks comment Jack hates the cold.

I’m lucky that Adam also prefers a cooler varied climate.

We’ve been having freezing rain for the past 24 hours – that bright warm sunny beach is looking very inviting right about now 😉

We have four seasons in Ireland too, unfortunately we tend to get them all in one day 😉 Lovely photos.

Neat beach huts! I don’t think we have those. At least I’ve never seen them at the beaches where I’m from.
