Today’s prompt for my Photo A Day challenge is “leap”. These fellas seemed ideal.
These sculptures have such character. A wonderful surprise that we discovered on a walk around Perth the other week.
Are you doing anything special with the extra day this year?
I’m using the hours to catch up on photo admin, photo editing tools, adding a watermark to my images and generally learning about Lightroom.
I’m interested to hear your comments about Lightroom, Flickr, Instagram or other photo tools and how you balance the necessary admin.
Those statues are wonderful.

Lovely photos.
Re Lightroom, I tried a free trial a while back and admit that it confused me, but I have heard that if you persevere with it you can do wonderful things. I use one paid and one free editing software, and they let me do the minor things I want to my photos. It does take time, to learn and to do, but if I get (in my opinion) a better photo result that I want, it is time worth spending.

Thanks for the comment Claudette. I’ve been playing with Lightroom today and it is a bit confusing, but I’m sure practice will make it clearer.

Love the sculptures! Are you doing the FMS photo challenge? I have done the FMS challenge for January and February and I think I will attempt March.

Yes, I’ve been doing FMS photo a day for 18 months. It’s a fun challenge and gets me stop and look at the world for a few minutes each day 🙂
