I like the first door with that white knob in the center of the door. I am wondering if those two iron rods aren’t meant to hang one’s shoes/boots on to dry?
Like Janet I have mine inside on a mat to dry or rest in between outings. 🙂
Nice capture. In Hawaii, the local custom is to remove shoes and slippers before entering homes; so maybe you came across some transplanted local Hawaii people 😀
Great spoted with those boots at the doorsteps.

I love the colour of that top one and the handle in the middle of the doors is a nice touch 🙂

Must have been a muddy or wet day, although I leave my shoes and boots indoors on a mat to dry. 🙂

Not much rain here recently Janet, so not sure why the boots were left outside. Glad I noticed though.

Maybe they needed airing out. 🙂

Someone’s hubby was sweet enough to leave his work boots at the door! I’m jealous!

Were both doors in the same neighborhood? We have our rainboots also by the front door

Yes, in same neighbourhood but it wasn’t a wet day.

Nice doors and maybe the boots were left outside because they were smelly!!!

Great shots of doors that conjure up questions about who lives inside.
