The water danced
over the rocks
a quiet trickle
finding it’s way.
Then it rained
during the evening
through the night
into the morning.
Water flowed downhill
from the mountains
across the heath
creating new streams.
Reaching the river
tumbling and dancing
forming a crescendo
at the waterfall.
Pencil Pine River – before and after the rain
Pencil Pine Falls – before and after the rain, from opposite banks.
This is my contribution to the Weekly Photo Challenge – Dance
Wow! What a hugh difference. Amazing.

Wonderful Ruth. I like nature as an inspiring medium to write poetry or to express an artform. Yesterday I had my own attempt at making art from an inspiring picture. I used a calendar picture of Castle Point (Wairarapa coastline), and made a collage on a kete. It turned out great.
Love Den xx

I love waterfalls – and now I’m going to think of them as crescendos 🙂
What great contrast between the Pencil Pine before-and-after shots!!
