Landscapes of Tasmania.
Mountains, lakes, rivers, wilderness, agricultural land, beaches. There are cities, towns, villages but Tasmania is the second most protected land mass in the world after Antarctica.
We’ve had a very dry spring and summer seasons. Water levels are low, as you can see from the dam in the bottom picture.
Great photos Ruth, it reminded me of how beautiful Tasmania is. I have heard you’ve had a dry summer…cross fingers for rain, we could do with some here in Canberra too.

Hi again Ruth, do you use a particular editing program (like Photoshop) for your photos? they look very professional…I definitely need something.

Hi Gerrie. Many thanks for the compliment. I generally use my iPhone, so edit them in iPhoto on my laptop. We got a “proper” camera at Christmas so I’ve recently registered on Lightroom, learning how to use that, slowly. I’m struggling to balancing how much time to spend on photos, editing, tagging, archiving etc.

I know exactly what you mean! Thanks I’ll have a look at Lightroom, I’ve heard of that one before. I do love my IPhone too. It is all really time consuming! Thanks Ruth

I pay $9 a month for Lightroom. There are lots of short tutorials. I’m included a watermark on my photos now, which is easy to do with Lr. Good luck.

Lovely pictures Ruth. I like the 1st photo. The land/water/bridge/trees composition is beautiful. I also like the 4th photo with the two coastlines and the piece of land through the middle. All of it is stunning!
Thanks for sharing.
Love Den xx

Thanks Claudette. I’m doing a lot of scrolling through archive photos for the A to Z challenge and came across these. I’m beginning to tag photos as I go now, to make it easier.
