My morning exercise today turned into a slow paced photo walk as I tried to capture some images for a weekly photo challenge.
Here are some of the things that I found “beneath my feet.

I went back out to collect some autumn leaves for this final photo of our front door mat.

I love the autumnal colours Ruth – it is a beautiful time of year! We’ve had a very wet May here in Perth and quite cool so have had the wood fire burning many evenings though not quite as cold as Hobart I think!

Rosemary, plenty of rain here too this month, thankfully. We too have heating on in the evenings. I enjoy the contrasting seasons and wrapping up in scarves at this time of year.

So do I Ruth – definitely couldn’t live somewhere hot all year round! Love cosy knits, scarves and getting out my extensive boot collection at this time of year 🙂 Monsieur has just spent the morning chopping wood for our fire (we do have other heating but put a wood fire in a year ago and love it!). Have a lovely rest of the weekend 🙂

Looks as if autumn leaves are late in your part of the world also, Ruth. Our chinese tallowwood hasn’t started to turn yet, but the first jonquils are flowering 😩

Autumn is coming to an end here now, with strong winds and rain at last.
