Winter officially arrived yesterday but the past few days have seen overnight temperatures near zero and heavy frosts in the early morning.
Today, I allowed time to walk and take photos on my way to work. I felt invigorated.
This is my contribution to Claudette’s “Emotography” series.
It was cold here today but not THAT cold! Brrrr

-4 again this morning, that’s 3 in a row, and looking likely that nother cold one will be here in the morning. Love the crunchiness of frost, if I’m only in it for a few moments!

I’d rather cold sunny days than milder but rainy winter days.

mm, can’t decide about that – let it rain for a bit more and I will update my indecision 🙂

Been pretty chilly at my place lately too. We are 440m above sea level, so that makes sense.

I’m happy with cold sunny days but seems we’ll have rain and warmer weather next week.

Yes this system coming down the east coast holds a lot of rain. Tassie needs it, so do we, even though we’ll be missing out on most of it. Our dam is dry for the first time twenty years. Our rainfall is not the lowest its been in that time but we’ve had no large events, which are needed for dam filling. Are you off to Sydney? I hope the rain has backed off by then for you.

Sydney’s has had it rough overnight, so hope all good later in the week. I’ve heard of several people with empty dams at the moment. Hope you get the rainfall soon.

Not surprised you had difficulty getting your head round the topsy turvy seasons! This looks weird in June – which is (so far) glorious here in Scotland.

Glad you are getting good weather, Anabel. My head still relates to UK seasons and dates such as last weekends Spring Bank Holiday.
