Three years ago today, we visited Tasmania for the first time.
After three weeks in Sydney catching up with family and celebrating our silver wedding anniversary, Aussie Mate and I came to Tasmania for six days before flying back to our life in the UK.
We both love Sydney, but it is too hot and too expensive. So we wondered if Tasmania would appeal. As we approached the empty nest phase of life, we had vague plans to live
somewhere different for at least a year.
Hobart ticked a lot of boxes with it’s four seasons, it’s small town feel, harbour, mountain, beaches, bush walks, restaurants, museums, relaxed lifestyle and friendly locals.
But, three years ago, did we really appreciate where our life journey would lead?
Life is fantastic, lovely photos.

What a lovely compliment Claudette. Thank you. Knowing your local environment is admirable too. I’ve learnt a lot about Tassie from you 🙂
