There’s been snow on the mountain for a few weeks now. So yesterday, we drove to the summit to get up close.
Snow and ice clings to the bushes, a few days after the last snowfall.
We were in the clouds for some of the time but had glimpses of the view.
Snow brings out the inner child in everyone.
It was pure joy to be out in the snow. I’m submitting this post to Claudette’s weekly Emotography series.
Gorgeous views! Love the snowman 🙂

I love that you can go and ‘see’ snow rather than live with it!

Gorgeous photos Ruth – love winter wonderland pictures! There was even snow in WA a week or so back on Bluff Knoll in the Great Southern – a bit too far for us to go and see it but we have had a colder than average winter! The snowman is very smart 🙂

Thanks Rosemary. Some friends here are ready for spring, stating it has been colder than usual. Signs of spring flowers around though.

Amazing to see the snow as we are in Queensland at the moment but I know it has been very cold in Canberra. I love the glimpse of the snow through the clouds.

Snow is a joy – when you can get out of it and back into the warmth and dry. It brings out the snuggly feeling to look at it. Thanks for joining in this week.

Thanks Claudette. It’s a novelty for me to be able to go and visit the snow, rather than live in the midst of it for a few days.

Ruth I loved the pics, especially the one of the ice crystals on the bushes, it looked like two figures having a conversation and the next one looked like the ice folk were all crying. {sorry about my vivid imagination!}
