A perfect photo challenge to share some of my favourite photos of my local place – Hobart, Tasmania.
A city nestled below Mount Wellington on the banks of the River Derwent. A place with the expected city life, galleries, museums, theatres, cinemas, restaurants, bars, cafes, shops. A place of beaches, waterfront, boats of all shapes and sizes, water sports.
Beautiful photos Ruth. It might not be my local city but I love it too.

Nice to see your city when it’s not raining, as it was when we were there! Lovely!

Sure is Claudette, even on a rainy day like today. Just been to Farmgate Market for veggies and new herb plants for our window box.

On a clear day the area around Hobart is absolutely beautiful. Great photos, I especially love the white sand in the last photo.

Thanks Gerrie. It is all rather grey in the rain today.
