October has been a month of colour, of spring flowers.
A month of changeable weather, the southern hemisphere’s equivalent to “April Showers”. There have been warm sunny spring days, but also mornings when we have woken to snow on Mount Wellington, along with cold southerly winds.
It has been a month of rainbows, which is a nice way to sum up my month of colour posts.
The view from our kitchen looks towards Hobart’s Casino. I wonder what the response would be, if I showed them this photo and asked for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
That last one’s great! I reckon you should go and ask them for the pot of gold!
I’m a bit over this changeable weather. Spring ‘showers’ is one thing but even the farmers are now saying “Enough with the rain already!”

Yes, same here in Tassie. Very different to spring last year.

I reckon… in true Ozzy fashion they’ll tell you to go find your own!
I love the view from your kitchen… including that nifty cup with the twirly ear! 😉

Ha ha. It is an amazing view. A small rental apartment that we enjoy.

It certainly has been a month of unpredictable and changeable weather. Hopefully November will be more stable and predictably warm.

What a great photo! I reckon you could sell that to the Casino! They would want to use it for advertising and marketing for sure. Just send them a low resolution first!
