Glad to hear you are not caught up in the knife attack. I love the photos of St Pau’s Cathedral and Parliament Buildings. The architecture is so rich there, and so diverse with the old and new going on. I can spend a day just looking at that. I have great memories of the lovely old buildings. It is something I miss.

You must feel strange, having been there the day before. Such a senseless act, in front of such beautiful and timeless buildings.

So glad you are safe Ruth. Very shocked and saddened – a place we know so well. Our daughter is down that way a fair bit with work – fortunately she messaged me to say she was safe before I saw it on the news. Thoughts go out to those caught up in this. So random and senseless. Take care and enjoy the rest of your trip X
