When in the UK, we had “emergency” Aus dollars in a frame on our wall for over twenty years. Now both our daughters have an emergency frame. It’s an airfare, if it’s ever needed.

The emergency fund is an airfare to wherever I’d need to go in a hurry. Both our girls have their own funds now too.
