I like your questions, Ruth, especially the “why” lolol. Are you going to provide the answers? I’m curious about the little animal and the building. I knew the Queen and London 2012, but I’m stumped on the rest.

Glad you enjoyed the post, Cynthia. I actually love the why, I’m used to yarn bombing on trees and fences but that little trike is so cute. Answers: the building is Buckingham Palace, the animal is an Aussie native, a spotted Quoll.

Thanks for the answers, I was stumped 😁. I have also seen trees and parking meters covered in yarn but never a trike, very cute!

I presume the animal is a Quoll? Don’t know why the bike has been crocheted, but I hope you will tell us!

It’s called yarn-bombing. Been a bit of a craze in certain parts of the state for a while.

We get yarn-bombing here too, but unusual to see an actual object covered!

Oh, they’ve done tree trunks and all where that photo was taken. Bit extreme if you ask me 🙂

I have seen a tree-trunk, and come to think of it a lamp-post. It does seem a little OTT. But I like the themed events.

Yes, Claudette. Cygnet yarn bombing!

Ha ha, Jude. I don’t know why either, but love it! And yes, a quoll. I’ve actually seen one in the wild now, quite cute things.

I’ve never heard of a quoll or yarn-bombing. Both are cute 🙂

Oh. Quoll and Quokka are Aussie animals. I’m surprised you don’t have yarn bombing there.

Now that you’ve introduced me to yarn-bombing, I’ll probably start seeing it everywhere! 🙂
