I love that the Aussies put on 2 firework displays for new year. A family one as soon as it’s dark, plus midnight one.
So Hobart 9.30pm from our balcony
and midnight at the waterfront with S2H yachts.
Gotta love Hobart.

I wish they’d had the early ones when my kids were little. Such a good idea. Mind you, now they’re older and we still don’t go to the fireworks so maybe we still wouldn’t have made our way into town to see them. We can pretty much see them from our front room anyway. But we don’t get quite the impressive view that you do!

Any view of fireworks from home is a bonus. My kids grew up in the UK so fireworks were always a winter thing, wrapped up in hat and scarf and trying to keep warm.
