Some of these places were days out on public holidays, which helped complete 2 challenges on my 2017 list.
✔9 – Do something memorable on nine public holidays.
✔17 – Discover seventeen new places in Tasmania that we haven’t yet visited or explored.

Looks like there are plenty of places to explore. How big is Tassie? Here it takes me 2 hours to leave Cornwall and around 3 hours to drive to Bristol. Just wondering how the size of Tasmania compares.

Tasmania is about the same size as Ireland or Switzerland. But with a population of 515,000. In 3 hours we can drive to the north coast from Hobart. I
