Now I’m back in an office full time, I’m taking every opportunity to take a walk, to connect with nature, to observe the changing seasons.
The Hobart Rivulet track is ideal during my lunch break.
St David’s Park is close by.
At the weekend, it’s nice to visit the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.
Or one of the many coast paths or bush tracks.
Join me for a walk and follow the lines of the footpaths.
Oh those beautiful autumn leaves. Is it cooling down yet?

We’re still getting good weather, 18 to 20 degrees.

Getting out during the lunch hour is so good, and if into surrounding nature, even better. I hated the fact that when I was teaching you weren’t really supposed to leave the school grounds. Felt as though I was in prison sometimes.

Very true. My last job was in an industrial park with nowhere to walk. So I’m making the most of this temp job.

When I worked in the outskirts of Sheffield we could walk in a wood along a stream to a little café and watch ducks on the pond. It was so nice to get away from the computers for an hour.

The rivulet track looks good – never been along that. Photos are very nice and enticing – my lunch is long enough to go for a walk and eat.
