At 1,271 meters, Mount Wellington dominates the Hobart skyline. There has been snow on the mountain summit in recent weeks. On Saturday we drove up to see the snow close up. We knew it would be cold, at least ten degrees lower than in the city. However we did not expect these snow and ice effects created by the wind.
