Recently, I noticed these delightful new benches made from recycled plastic. They are in Hobart’s Salamanca Place, with plastics obtained from the market held every Saturday.
The design of the benches replicates the sandstone warehouses built in the 1830’s.
It’s great to see thoughtful recycling.

I’ve seen plain benches in some supermarket stores but these are unique.

A great initiative. We used to have them here in Brisbane too, but for some reason they have dispensed with them, in favor of aluminium.
